2020 Competition Update...

It was a busy, exciting, and challenging weekend for the ROCORI Rench Reckers this weekend! After qualification matches on Saturday at the Lake Superior Regional in Duluth the team was ranked 14 out of 63 teams. During alliance selection we were chosen to be a part of the #3 alliance. Our alliance won our quarterfinal matches and won the tiebreaker semifinal match which sent us into the finals against the #1 alliance. We are proud to have been a part of the final matches and finished with a silver medal earning us a Wild Card invitation to the World’s Competition in Detroit in April! Unfortunately, the World's competition has been cancelled, but we are proud to have been invited!

We want to give a shout-out to our alliance captains Team #5348 from Dassel-Cokato High School for the opportunity, community, and our continued support for each other. Congrats to our other alliance partners, team #2526, Crimson Robotics on winning the Chairman’s Award! We’re so thrilled to be a part of this alliance and for all three teams earning an invitation to World’s!

Another shout-out to our friends and 2019 alliance partners at team #167, Iowa City Robotics! Congrats on the Regional Championship! You are incredibly worthy opponents!

Thanks to our fans for making the trip to Duluth to support us! Our fan section was very impressive for a team of 8 students!

Thank you to our mentors and sponsors for making this success a possibility for us and for all the teams that helped us out this weekend as we problem-solved some last minute repairs. We’re creating future innovators and appreciative to be a part of the FIRST Robotics family!
