Three new and exciting FIRST Robotics based courses are in this summer's Community Education Catalog! Here is a brief overview of each of the classes:
Introduction to FIRST Robotics (Grades 7-12): Students will get the opportunity to increase their knowledge of Robotics! In this class, they will learn about: how to drive a robot, drive trains, electrical manipulators, programming, 3D printing and so much more. They will also begin to learn about game strategies and put them into practice. This class runs from July 14-29 on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Introduction to 3D Printing (Grade 7+): Students will get to go through the full 3D printing process. From creating their virtual project to having a complete print. This class runs from July 21-22 on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM in conjuncture with the Intro to FIRST Robotics class.
Introduction to Screen Printing (Grade 7+): Students will get to go through the full screen printing process. From creating their logo to completing the screen print. Students should come to the class with an idea in mind for their clothing. Students must furnish their own clothing to print on. This class runs from August 4-12 on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
